Barrier: Size 1 man-made hard cover.

Bush: Scrub vegetation, no special rules. Note: If you edit my maps, I'd recommend replacing this. My party often confused it with Forest.

Dangerous: See rules in The Horde mission.

Deep water: Lakes and rivers. Difficult terrain deep enough to submerge size 2 mechs.

Large rocks: Difficult terrain

Farmland: No special rules.

Forest: Size 1 soft cover if you stand in or adjacent to it.

Grass: No special rules.

Gravel: No special rules.

Mountains: Hard cover if you stand next to it. Size of cover is equal to the number of mountain tiles between you and your enemy. Blocks line of sight. Can be either changes in elevation or large boulders.

Mud: No speical rules.

Ruins: Size 1 hard cover if you stand in or adjacent to it.

Shallows: Difficult terrain.

Space: Players without EVA gear are slowed if they start or move through this

Wall: Can be a solid building or the wall of a large building. Counts as size 2 or larger hard cover. Blocks line of sight.
